Onboard software

GMV boasts a broad technological base in the area of onboard software and avionics, allowing it to develop complete onboard hardware and software systems from the aerospace sector, including systems engineering, real-time safety-critical software applying the strictest quality and certification standards, design of hardware and integration of equipment and avionics.

Equipment with GMV software is now flying in aircraft like the Eurofighter and Airbus and helicopters like Tiger and Dauphin. GMV is a specialist in the development of onboard, real-time safety-critical software.

GMV has a tried and tested experience in the development of safety critical systems under RTCA DO-178B, in the definition of environments and development of IMA systems (Integrated Modular Avionics), as well as the application of ASAAC standards.

GMV has inhouse tools for verifying ARINC-653 compliance, including ARINC 653 simulators for software development before target integration, HBOSS development environments for definition of AIRBUS API 2.0 interface and TBOSS environments for definition of AIRBUS API 2.1 interface. It also has the tools for carrying out all sorts of tests on an AFDX network (Avionics Full DupleX Switch), in particular tests for management of redundancies, integrity checks, traffic configuration, etc.

All this expertise has won us a place in flagship programs of the armed forces such as the Eurofighter, the Tiger attack helicopter, the A400M transport aircraft and the Tail Boom flight refuelling system. We have also been responsible for the complete development of the flight computer of the tactical UAV ATLANTE.
