Mission systems
GMV is an expert in the development of onboard and ground-support mission systems in both the space and aeronautics fields. In the latter it has worked on the development of aeronautical mission systems for Airbus Military and Eurocopter.
With Airbus Military it has collaborated in the development and maintenance of the Portuguese version of FITS (Fully Integrated Tactical System), whose specification and design has been agreed with the Portuguese airforce. The system comprises two main subsystems, one tactical onboard and another for ground mission support.
With Eurocopter it has worked on the development and integration of a mission system for fishery surveillance, integrating communications, video capture and broadcasting, etc.
