Integrated modular avionics (IMA)
In GMV we are leaders in developing technology based on integrated modular avionics (IMA). We have built up a complete series of standard services to provide ARINC 653-compliant Real Time Operating System functionalities for IMA computer systems and also the necessary functions to be offered by the interface between the applications and the operating system itself.
With over a decade of IMA experience behind us we set up a specialist team with outstanding knowledge of this technology.
The experience and expertise built up by GMV in key modular avionics projects bore fruit in 2009 with the commercial launch of the SIMA product, which has been successfully taken up by the world’s main manufacturers of embedded systems.
