GMV is an expert in flight physics and aeronautical engineering. Its expertise here takes in not only the design aspects and the development of aeronautical control laws for the various aircraft flight phases but also the development of aircraft dynamics models for implementation in simulators.

GMV has participated in the design of control laws for moving the guiding fins of the tail-boom type flight-refuelling system developed by Airbus Military.

For both the C-101 aircraft simulator and the T-10 (Hercules) GMV developed the flight macrosystem, allowing simulation of all the following:

• Earth-related trajectory and attitude tracking

• Longitudinal and lateral-directional behavior of the aircraft with fixed commands 
• Aircraft’s dynamic response to activation of the control surfaces

This involves a complete previous analysis of the aircraft in terms of its aerodynamics (stability derivatives), mass (weight, moments of inertia and central moments) and propulsion (traction model).
