Messaging Service for Groups: Qtal!

Qtal! is a product based on the creation of user groups. Members of the group make voice calls and send SMS’s within the group through short numerical series (41xx) and at a special group rate. Additionally, they share a common Internet space that allows them to send SMS, communicate via chat, publish news in a message board as well as locate other members of the group.

Messaging Service for Companies: Mensa-Red

This service, aimed at companies, allows emission and reception of text messages (SMS), as well as emission of MMS messages containing images and/or text. Users can send messages individually or simultaneously to several users. Users can create and manage alias lists, streamline the delivery of messages to the most common addressees, and can also define distribution lists. Messages are managed through message emission/reception history folders. We can mention the following additional features:

  • Accessible through WAP (mobile) and PDA
  • Creation, editing and deleting of distribution lists
  • Emission of delayed text messages and alarms
  • Language selection for the application
  • Possibility of requesting receipt confirmations

Emission of text messages (SMS) of up to 469 characters, through concatenation of several messages.

 

Roaming-Out Platform

High performance platform for services oriented to Roaming-Out users. Main characteristics include:

  • Registers changes in VLR
  • Maintains the Roaming user's data updated (country, operator)
  • Services implemented:
    • Updating of Roaming Operator List
    • SMS Welcome /Roaming Promotions
    • Reconnection to favorite operators

Since 1997 GMV has been collaborating with Airtel Móvil - Vodafone in the development of diverse solutions, mainly oriented toward messaging and convergence with IP networks. These solutions have been developed according to the strictest standards of performance, scalability, stability and high availability. Additionally, their development contributed to the acquisition by GMV of extensive knowledge regarding Vodafone's procedures in Core Network environments, as well as in the Information Systems supporting Vodafone's business.
