We apply information security systems to hospitals to improve their management and the privacy of patients
Information security has by now become a business enabler, minimizing any organization’s incident-caused losses and increasing the quality of services offered by companies to their clients and by public authorities to their governees.
Information security is a vital tool within any hospital environment, playing a leading role in the protection of patients’ information and privacy. Hospitals are custodians of highly sensitive information on the general public in the form of their medical records. They also manage huge amounts of information and databases with medical knowledge and information; all this has to be duly protected to guarantee the quality and reliability of sources at all times and also make sure the information itself is used only for its rightful purpose.
