First Lego League Tarragona GMV is once more participating as sole sponsor of the FIRST LEGO® League in Spain, to be held this time round in December 2011 and January, February and March 2012.

The FIRST LEGO® League is an international robot-building competition for schoolchildren born from the alliance between FIRST and LEGO® back in 1988. Since then a new worldwide challenge has been announced each September to fire up the children’s imagination and defy them to solve it by research, teamwork and robot building.
This year’s “Food Factor” challenge will stimulate the schoolchildren to explore the subject of food security, examining potential sources of food contamination and the best ways of heading them off.
