

On July 29, 2004, Mr. Javier Uceda, President of the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid [Spain], signed an Agreement with Mr. Luis A. Mayo, Chief Executive Officer of the GMV Group and Mr. Jose Luis Montañés, Head of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Aeronáuticos ETSIA (School of Aeronautical Engineering) for the creation of the “GMV Program of Studies”. The purpose of this Agreement was to establish a collaborative framework between GMV and ETSIA for the training of engineers who would become experts in aerospace systems, as well as in research, development and innovation (R&D/I) in the field.
Therefore, the "GMV Program of Studies" aims to harness the lessons learned in ETSIA (mainly during the second cycle and Doctorate levels) by applying them in ETSIA-GMV joint R&D/I projects in fields of mutual interest for both institutions. This is achieved through activities carried out at the highest level of excellence and quality:
